Peace

John 14:27 - Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world gives, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

Father, Jesus left us with His peace, and told us not to let our hearts be troubled or afraid. He also told us that, despite the tribulation that we might experience in the world, we are to be of good cheer, because He has overcome the world. Father Who has provided the Comforter, help us experience the peace that Jesus has bestowed upon us. Teach us to claim this peace, to accept this peace, to manifest this peace in our lives today. Then my God, tame our fear. After all, you have not given us a spirit of fear, but the spirit of love and a sound mind. Let our love and our faith grow so that we might take hold of the victory of Jesus. We ask it all, believing that you have heard us, and having heard us, intend to bless us, all in the Name of Jesus. Amen.
